ranklands Farm lies on the banks of the Saint Lawrence River just outside Brockville, Ontario, Canada. The property is owned by Bill and Faith Berghuis and has a long and rich history of supporting equestrian sport in Canada.
Dutch Treat, which Gina Smith (Olympic Bronze Medallist) rode on Canada’s gold medal-winning Dressage Team at the Pan American Games in 1992 was owned by Franklands Farm. Future Vision, ridden by Ian Miller at the same Pan American Games, was a member of Canada’s silver medal winning jumping team and was part-owned by Franklands Farm.
The historic property is now home to dressage rider Gina Smith and her business, Franklands Equine Services. Gina accepts a limited number of quality horses for training each year and teaches clinics throughout North America.
Franklands Farm continues to support equestrian sport in Canada and hopes to be involved in promoting Canadian horses and riders long into the future.
